Realme, a brand that was launched by Oppo earlier this month, announced on Twitter that it hit the 10 lakh sales milestone. The company thanked its consumers in the post and the announcement comes just days ahead of the launch of the Realme 2 Pro. So far, the company has launched two phones in India, the Realme 1 and Realme 2. Both the phones have seen a pretty strong response and are among the highest rated smartphones on Amazon India and Flipkart. The Realme 2, which was announced last month and has seen two flash sales already, has seen a pretty strong response from consumers, especially because it is touted as one of the cheapest phones with a notched display. The company announced previously that it sold 2 lakh units of the Realme 2 in the first flash sale and 3.7 lakh units in the second flash sale. The Realme 2 went on its third sale on Tuesday, but we don’t have any numbers for that just yet. The next flash sale will take place on Flipkart on September 25 at 12pm.A big thank you to our 1 Million Realme users! You are the reason we continue to stay real. The company decided to stop selling the Rs 8,990 variant of the Realme 1 following the Realme 2. While the Realme 1 comes with a Helio P60 chipset that made it a powerful device at an affordable price, the Realme 2 aimed to offer a more edge-to-edge display with a notch and a massive 4,230mAh battery. The success of both the phones makes the upcoming Realme 2 Pro a highly anticipated launch.advertisementThe Realme 2 Pro is expected to be a true successor the Realme 1 as it is expected to come with an upgraded design and more powerful specs. An advertisement posted by the company gave us a glimpse of the upcoming device, revealing that will sport a waterdrop notch similar to the Oppo F9 Pro. We also expect the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 600-series chipset and will be priced below Rs 20,000. We’ll know more about the Realme 2 Pro when the company unveils it on September 27.
